-------------------------------------------------------

"Norway has been characterized since the emergence of Black Metal by controversial and "extreme" projects, which cite anti-religion, blasphemy, war and darkness, as main themes. When we investigate in other aspects, we discover, this country has an immense variety of which little is spoken. Trondheim, Norway, is a locality, where you can see the interest of forming a band that contributes with authenticity to expand the meaning of "making music"; giving of what to speak for the potential, like Shepherds Crook.
Before entering into context about who they are and what they are doing, it is worth mentioning: "their music is not digestible for anyone". Letters with strong messages, a thunderous voice and a thick melody, will carry your ears for decadent sounds, worthy of a strange delight.
[...]
Doom Metal that combines the thickest of the Sludge, Stoner and occasionally Blackened, are the viscerally characteristic sound that manages to stand out from the rest of the projects of these slopes. Under a context that for many, may sound unpleasant, this pair of likes for the distortion, manage to trap your senses in something that is extraordinary in the harmonic.
Riffs overflowing a dark mass of amazing music, are part of what their productions reflect (Uteseiler and Black Lake), in which the themes of each track are key in the interaction of the listener."

8/10
"This one is 40-minutes of sinister, menacing, ominous sludge-doom built upon a foundation of scuzzy, distorted guitar tones and nasty vocal spits, which are no doubt gonna leave a dribble of black, dirty fluid down the chin of vocalist Nestor. I’ve heard some really good doomy stuff this year and from varying avenues, but this miserable offering is right up there; a sordid exploration of well-soiled traipses and trudges that are easy to take in but they sure do cause distress when being excreted!"

"I expect more from Norwegian bands."
- The Sludgelord (666 pack review)

"The unstable stoner riffs maintain a depressive, gloomy atmosphere that brings to mind the early recordings of the Norwegian black classics. It turns out that it is a really successful mix. Fans of old Mayhem and Darkthrone will feel at home."
